Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYNDIG1L RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SYNDIG1L data layer compared with 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SYNDIG1L RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYNDIG1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and CESC show a favorable association.

SKCM, CESC, and THCA are the cancer types where SYNDIG1L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
