Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYCN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SYCN data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SYCN Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYCN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, ACC, and ESCA are the cancer types where SYCN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
