Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SVEP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SVEP1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SVEP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SVEP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
UVM, KIRP, and STAD are the cancer types where SVEP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
