Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STXBP5-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STXBP5-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher STXBP5-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STXBP5-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and ESCA show a favorable association.

CESC, LUAD, and KIRP are the cancer types where STXBP5-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
