Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STX1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STX1B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher STX1B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STX1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where STX1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
