Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STX18 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STX18 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher STX18 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STX18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LUAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where STX18 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
