Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STT3A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STT3A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher STT3A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STT3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LIHC, and LUSC are the cancer types where STT3A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
