Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STRAP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STRAP data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher STRAP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STRAP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, SKCM, and PRAD are the cancer types where STRAP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
