Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STRA6LP RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STRA6LP data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher STRA6LP RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STRA6LP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and CHOL show a favorable association.
ACC, PAAD, and CHOL are the cancer types where STRA6LP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
