STRA6LP

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STRA6LP RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of STRA6LP’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where STRA6LP RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types STRA6LP is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LUAD, THCA, and BLCA are the cancer types where STRA6LP tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
