Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STK17B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STK17B data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher STK17B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STK17B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

ESCA, SARC, and PRAD are the cancer types where STK17B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
