Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STK17B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STK17B data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher STK17B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STK17B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LSCC, HNSC, and GBM are the cancer types where STK17B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
