Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STIM2-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STIM2-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher STIM2-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STIM2-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and LUAD show a favorable association.

KICH, LAML, and CESC are the cancer types where STIM2-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
