Across TCGA patient cohorts, STIM1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,724 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STIM1-associated genes across cancer lineages are ZNF496, ZNF232, and CEP135. Each is linked with STIM1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STIM1-to-partner and partner-to-STIM1 results are reported.
