Across TCGA patient cohorts, STIM1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,496 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STIM1-associated genes across cancer lineages are TAF9, RNU6-374P, and LIN7C. Each is linked with STIM1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STIM1-to-partner and partner-to-STIM1 results are reported.
