STARD8

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, STARD8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,348 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STARD8-associated genes across cancer lineages are NMNAT3, IFITM2, and THOC3. Each is linked with STARD8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STARD8-to-partner and partner-to-STARD8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, STARD8 versus NMNAT3 in CCRCC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.64.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (STARD8→partner) and Y-score (partner→STARD8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
