Across TCGA patient cohorts, STARD4-AS1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 15,324 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STARD4-AS1-associated proteins across cancer lineages are MMP2, C1QTNF5, and CHPF. Each is linked with STARD4-AS1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STARD4-AS1-to-partner and partner-to-STARD4-AS1 results are reported.
