Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STARD4-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STARD4-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher STARD4-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STARD4-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LAML show a favorable association.

HNSC, CESC, and UVM are the cancer types where STARD4-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
