Across TCGA patient cohorts, STAM mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,704 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STAM-associated genes across cancer lineages are NIPA2P4, OR10R3P, and RNU6-1242P. Each is linked with STAM in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STAM-to-partner and partner-to-STAM results are reported.
