Across TCGA cell cohorts, STAM mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 33 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STAM-associated genes across cancer lineages are CBY1, FMO1, and MYF6. Each is linked with STAM in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STAM-to-partner and partner-to-STAM results are reported.
