Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ST6GALNAC6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ST6GALNAC6 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher ST6GALNAC6 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ST6GALNAC6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and KIRC show a favorable association.
ACC, LUAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where ST6GALNAC6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
