Across TCGA patient cohorts, ST6GALNAC1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 17,800 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible ST6GALNAC1-associated proteins across cancer lineages are HID1, SGSM3, and DOP1B_S1021. Each is linked with ST6GALNAC1 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ST6GALNAC1-to-partner and partner-to-ST6GALNAC1 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, ST6GALNAC1 versus HID1 in OV, with a Pearson correlation of 0.58.
