Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ST13P6 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ST13P6’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where ST13P6 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ST13P6 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and UCEC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

BRCA, UCEC, and KIRP are the cancer types where ST13P6 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
