Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSX5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSX5 data layer compared with 14 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SSX5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSX5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

BRCA, LIHC, and COAD are the cancer types where SSX5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
