Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSX4B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSX4B data layer compared with 12 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SSX4B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSX4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA are the cancer types where SSX4B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
