Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SSH3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SSH3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher SSH3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SSH3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and PDAC show a favorable association.
GBM, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where SSH3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
