Across TCGA patient cohorts, SRMS RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 7,149 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SRMS-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of telomere maintenance, Positive regulation of establishment of protein localization to mitochondrion, and Regulation of establishment of protein localization to mitochondrion. Each is linked with SRMS in more than 20 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SRMS-to-partner and partner-to-SRMS results are reported.
