Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPRR2B RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SPRR2B data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher SPRR2B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPRR2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and ESCA show a favorable association.
READ, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where SPRR2B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
