Across TCGA cell cohorts, SPP1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,012 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SPP1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of steroid hormone secretion, Androgen catabolic process, and Negative regulation of axon regeneration. Each is linked with SPP1 in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SPP1-to-partner and partner-to-SPP1 results are reported.
