Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPOCK1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPOCK1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SPOCK1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPOCK1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, GBM, and BRCA are the cancer types where SPOCK1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
