Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPO11 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SPO11 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SPO11 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPO11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and HNSC show a favorable association.
COAD, KIRC, and STAD are the cancer types where SPO11 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
