Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPIN2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPIN2A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher SPIN2A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPIN2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
READ are the cancer types where SPIN2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
