Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPG7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPG7 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SPG7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPG7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and CESC show a favorable association.

LUAD, UCEC, and MESO are the cancer types where SPG7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
