Across TCGA patient cohorts, SPEN protein abundance is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 25,048 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SPEN-associated proteins across cancer lineages are SAP130, NIPBL, and ZC3H13. Each is linked with SPEN in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SPEN-to-partner and partner-to-SPEN results are reported.
