Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPDYE22P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SPDYE22P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where SPDYE22P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SPDYE22P is over-expressed in tumor.
BLCA, COAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where SPDYE22P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
