Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPATA2L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPATA2L data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher SPATA2L Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPATA2L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where SPATA2L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
