Across TCGA patient cohorts, SPAG16 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 48 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SPAG16-associated genes across cancer lineages are Cyclin-B1, p38-MAPK_pT180_Y182, and Caspase-7-cleavedD198. Each is linked with SPAG16 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SPAG16-to-partner and partner-to-SPAG16 results are reported.
