Across TCGA patient cohorts, SP8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 122 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SP8-associated genes across cancer lineages are SEC23A, GLRA2, and BMX. Each is linked with SP8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SP8-to-partner and partner-to-SP8 results are reported.
