Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SOX14 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SOX14 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SOX14 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SOX14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and UCEC show a favorable association.
UVM, OV, and UCEC are the cancer types where SOX14 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
