Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SOWAHC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SOWAHC data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SOWAHC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SOWAHC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, PRAD, and ACC are the cancer types where SOWAHC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
