Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SORBS3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SORBS3 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SORBS3 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SORBS3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where SORBS3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
