Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SOCS2-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SOCS2-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SOCS2-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SOCS2-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and PAAD show a favorable association.

UVM, KIRC, and PAAD are the cancer types where SOCS2-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
