Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNX21 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SNX21 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SNX21 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNX21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.
UCEC and CCRCC are the cancer types where SNX21 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
