Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD53B RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD53B data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher SNORD53B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD53B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and SKCM show a favorable association.
CHOL, UCEC, and PAAD are the cancer types where SNORD53B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
