Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD3B-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD3B-1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SNORD3B-1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD3B-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THYM and ESCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, KICH, and ACC are the cancer types where SNORD3B-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
