Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD116-13 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNORD116-13 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher SNORD116-13 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD116-13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and BLCA show a favorable association.

PAAD, CHOL, and KIRC are the cancer types where SNORD116-13 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
