Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNORD114-2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SNORD114-2 data layer compared with 12 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SNORD114-2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNORD114-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where SNORD114-2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
