Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SNCAIP RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SNCAIP data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SNCAIP RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SNCAIP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCEC show a favorable association.
UVM, KIRC, and KIRP are the cancer types where SNCAIP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
