SMYD2

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMYD2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,097 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMYD2-associated genes across cancer lineages are LAMTOR2, BPNT1, and MAN1C1. Each is linked with SMYD2 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMYD2-to-partner and partner-to-SMYD2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMYD2 versus LAMTOR2 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.28.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMYD2→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMYD2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
