Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMYD2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,547 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMYD2-associated genes across cancer lineages are BNIP3P6, RPS12P15, and SNORA70C. Each is linked with SMYD2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMYD2-to-partner and partner-to-SMYD2 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, BNIP3P6 grouped by SMYD2-low versus SMYD2-high in UCEC.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMYD2→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMYD2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
